What a disaster. No bad beats, no funny poker stories, no difficult hand analogies. Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

In three hours I managed to see 4 flops!!!

Card dead doesnt even describe how bad it was tonight. My best hand of the night was 2 2. Second best was A 4. Im not that annoyed as there was no bad beats or bad play on my part. And no cards I folded would have hit anything. It really was just a situation of fold, fold, fold, foldfold, fold, fold, zzzzzzzzz

I have never been so bored in a poker game in my whole life!!! I played 1 hand before the break and doubled up. I topped up and was on 7,500 after the break. Then I simply got blinded down to 0. Simple as that. Anytime I limped I was re-raised. Anytime I thought of bluffing somebody would raise massively in front of me. I got so bored at the end I just threw my chips in and left. Easily the most boring game of poker I have ever had the misfortune of being part of. Jesus christ it hurts just thinking about it.

Somehow I managed to make it to the last 25 or so out of about 70. Only recognised john and ocallagh when I left, on top of the usual fitz regulars.

i hear ya rory... i played one hand all night, the rest were all-in moves.. eventually my luck ran out with 99 when K4 hit a str8. Poker can be such a frustrating game.

ps: this was posted by ocallagh, damn those cookies

Yeah I know the feeling and I'm getting quite used to it

I've now clocked up almost 12 hours of live tournament play without seeing a single premium pair

(not including the TT that ran into KK to knock me out of the scalps tonight)

and don't even get me started on cash games, i bring new meaning to the phrase card dead. Oh god, if i see Q3 one more time...

i'm now starting to lean more and more towards omaha. at least it's never boring

Exited 13th....after dealing the first two and a half levels!!

AA twice UTG, both times got the blinds for my trouble.

One big laydown for me, shortstacked at 16K in BB (Blinds 1500-3000) guy goes all-in for 13K. Me looks down at ATo. Hmmm. Problem is he's previously shoved with 33. I sweat it and cannot see anything I'm ahead of. He tells me afterward he had TT.

Happy the way I played, tight and level headed enough and convinced I would have finished ITM had I played the first levels. Silly to join at the stage I did I suppose.

Galling part was I got knocked out, went out for a smoke and I get back in 4mins later to find that they had joined up for the final table - Gah!!

    shortstacked, yes.

With just over 4BB remaining I'm looking for a decent enough hand to try and double up with.

I end up pushing with 55 in the SB one orbit later against KQ. He hits his Q.
