    Hey,

I've just started messing around with oscommerce but all the php is daunting. Does anyone know what is the best way to get into it properly? I want to eventually be able to full integrate a store into my own html templates.

    Cheers

osCommerce is supported by a huge community, so check the forums at oscommerce.com. There are many free to download templates to mess around with, try the link I have at the bottom of here

The best way to start is buying a book like PHP & Mysql for Dummies. I am new to this as well, I used this and it's very usefull and effective, try it. I got mine from ebay for €10 only.

Also I find agent ransack to be one of my most important tools working with osCommerce. It will search through your files for a specific line of code.
