    also what is the nightlife down there like?im just after faking my passport and forfeiting a trip to the malta game so i can go out in college!

    it was going to cost me 600euro anyway!id prefer to be able to go out in college!

    I believe ther are c. 10,000 students in NUIG. As for nightlife, everyone's tucked up in bed before 10pm... :D

    I don't know how many students there is, but they are everywhere. Except during the summer. Then everything feels a little too quiet. Night life is difficult to define. People here goes to the bars at about 7pm. so that mean that most of them are drunk by the time it gets dark (night) in the summer specially. So the night its very short. Every body is for sure gone at around 1 or 2 maximum. So when you come from a place where the parties start at 12 and end at 6 this is pretty weird. But you get use to it. The good thing is that you get a few good hours of sleep before facing the new day. Then hot shower big, and I mean Big cup of Coffee and voila! like new.
