DVDs?

    I still live in the land of the VCR with those tape thingy-me-jigs.

    For DVDs what region are we?. Can a blank DVD be used to tape stuff off the telly or computer :confused: ........ (you may have copped that I know feck all :o ).

    Europe is region 2.

    Yes, you can buy a DVD recorder and blank DVD's to record stuff off tv.

    We are region 2. I don't have a DVD recorder yet so can't answer your other question.

    region 2 and yes. it works perfectly to record off tv. i find dvd-ram to be the best format for the job. a lot of DVD recorders come with a built in HDD these days so maybe one of them
