Thanks for the link, registered my US psp anyways (just picked psp-1003 and 31st of august) but i doubt they'll send me the free spiderman umd ( it'll be no use to me anways). They'll come around in the morning now and try and impound my imported psp

Weird they chose a flash site which is inaccessible on the PSP with the new browser. Hopefully it will be sorted on the next update.

theres a bookmark on the psp browser that brings up a different page specially made for the psp

Cheers for that. I'd got out of the habit of using the bookmark as up to now I was only getting the Japanese version of the site with the Japanese update on a US PSP.

I registered mine too and got a confirmation email saying the UMD will be sent out. Not much good to me either - if it does arrive it looks like there will be a few Spiderman 2s for sale on Boards!

You should get your Spiderman 2 UMD if you bought your PSP elsewhere. In the Help and Advice section on YourPSP.com there is a question that says;

I bought my PSP abroad - can I sign up at www.yourpsp.com?
You can sign up at www.yourpsp.com only if you are a resident in PAL countries.

So it looks like if you live in Ireland (a PAL country) but bought your PSP elsewhere (outside Europe/Oceania) you can still sign up and hopefully get you Spiderman 2 UMD.

...anyone know what else is in the "PSP Pack" apart from Spiderman 2?
And also how long delivery is?

I tried to register my Japanese PSP last night. Its a PSP1000.....

Site only allows PSP1003 & PSP1004 model numbers......

Any suggestions??

just pick 1003 and 31st of august as the purchase date and it should register you.

Just got off the phone to the PSP Helpline

If you bought your PSP outside Europe, you cannot register it on yourpsp.com.

Simple as that. :mad:

Im afraid your wrong. I have a Jap PSP I got last Feburary and Im just after registering it online saying I bought it on the 31/08/05 and said it was a PSP1003. It worked fine and I got an Email confirming that the pack will be sent out.

Try it.

Looks like it, although it says your "pack" will be delivered shortly including this UMD.

i reged my jap psp as p1003 and it succesfully reged, did you use the code underneath the battery, because i nearly thought it was the label on the edge of the unit then coped on that thats the MAC address.

I didnt 'nearly' use the MAC no., I DID use the MAC no.
