Just sold an item on ebay and received this email from the buyer, I am very very suspicious but she is offering to pay first. Anyone have any suggestions?

"I'm relatively new to Ebay as you can see,I have never bought anything on
this site. I heard its very convinient and easy thats why i'm trying it
now. This item is going to my Husband......... which is currenttly in Ibadan
nigeria for a project, I will be paying you....... for this deal to be
conclude very fast with my PAYPAL account and you will receive your payment
confirmation immediately .I would have love to send the item to Nigeria
myself but i'm not presently in uk. I scout for young players and i'm
presently in south america, Brazil to be precise. Please let me have the
total cost of the item... SHIPPMENT INCLUDED VIA REGIASTERED Royal mail
postage,Dhl or UPS which I found to be more secured and efficient. please
back to me with your paypal email address and the total amount including
shipping fee to Nigeria....as required for the payment.Do get back to me as
    soon as possible.
    Best regard.betty"

do not ship there its a scam search for a mobile fone and the amount of buyers that will not ship specifically to nigeria

they can also fake the western union forms so do not ship to nigeria

Read the stickie at the top of this forum about ways to avoid ebay scams.
A forum regular/seller posted his experiences with selling to a man, who also happened to be from Nigeria. It turned out to be a scam. Theres a list of things you should look out for in the posts included. One of them is when the buyer/seller includes *way* too many personal details and tangents off topic. This is a common attempt to disguise the oddities in the transaction. Hardly anyone falls for these any more. This seems to be the case in your account.
Why not report it to ebay as 'suspicious' If it is a scam (I'd bet my house it is) they'll sort it out.

File a non-paying bidder alert and they'll refund your listing fee and/or relist the item for free

Sounds suspicious alright. Why all the crap about different countries, why not just ask for the quote to nigeria.
But I cannot see how it is a scam, she is willing to pay via paypal before it is shipped with registered mail.

What scam can she pull, does she say she never got the goods and do some claim?

Think it's something like that - item doesn't get delivered but gets "lost" and the buyer gets their money back and so the seller is out of pocket.
