I thought that was very witty!

But Computers>Tweaking\Modding is pretty friendly, the odd competitive streak to see who has a larger penis size\3DMARK score is alwaysd entertaining :p

Ah i'm only joking with you Lil, you know i love ya..

All the forums where people willingly help with other peoples problems/queries are usually great... and that accounts for the majority of forums here on boards.ie
    No particular favourites.

    Modding imo.

I think After Hours is one of the most unfriendly forums around tbh... filled with bitter, cruel people.. but it's also one of the funniest..

I think Instruments is very friendly... as is prime time cartoons... usually it's the the small, closely-knit, community type forums..

I'd say Slydice. Nothing like some nice ladies to unite posters.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,057 ✭✭✭amazingemmet

Personally i vote juggling or maybe the fitness forum

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 440 ✭✭Shyster

Definitely Leaving Cert Forum, got many of us through the year..:) Have to say AH has a bit of a cynical side whenever a new thread pops up! PI seems pretty nice, the regular posters there are lovely

I have to say, the Log Out forum is always pleasant.

    The boards forum ? :)

Got to be leaving cert for me at the moment.

i find everyone on the tatoos/piercings forum very friendly and helpful. they've prob helped innumerable amounts of people from making stupid mistakes and think more about their body art options.

Agreed there Mr. Monk. It's the small minority of trouble makers that ruin it for everyone.

There's a great atmosphere in PI

'All things Retro' by far! I don't think I've ever seen anyone dis an opinion or get into a slagging match on that board. Good times all round.

I think the nostalgia vibe must work like a seditave over there or something. Either that or the messers just stay away.

(also the Emulators board deserves a mention. Haven't been on it in yonks but I seem to remember everyone in there being generally positive and helpful to those who had queries.)

Leaving Cert and All Things Retro. Fashion/Appearance is usually full of interesting threads but arguments do break out there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,693 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

    Cricket, definitely

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 368 ✭✭Maynooth

i would say fashion/appearance but then you get your dickheads on there with their do you find fat women attractive crap...

i'd go with personal issues, fitness, animals/pet issues, commuting/transport to be the friendliest and most helpful.

TCN PI Tattoos/piercings all great, AH gets nasty from time to time as does CW.

    TCN for president!
