Any ideas on how to treat broken hair? Mine has been like that for a few weeks now and its getting on my nerves. Also it gets frizzy and sometimes flakey after a wash.

First of all you gotta get a hair cut/trim as the broken ends will just travel up the hair shaft. If you're using a hairdryer and/or straightener trying laying off them for awhile. If you must use them get some heat protection spray/conditioner from your salon like Redken etc. And also a intensive conditioner. your best bet is to talk to a stylist in the hairdressers for advice.

Plait it before bed. Helps imo.

Well if your hair is all broken, the best thing to do is to pay a visit to the hairdressers and get all the split ends taken out and then buy yourself a intensive conditioner, that should solve the problem. The hair needs to be kept trimmed or you will have this problem all the time.

Get to the hairdressers ASAP and get your split ends cut off, or it'll just get wrse. I used to have horrendous trouble with my hair because it was really weak and always broke, I found the best hair treatment was this one by Lush called H'Suan Wen Hua (I think, that's probably spelt completely wrong though) - you just leave it in your hair for a while then wash it out, it's got loads of proteins. I discovered that for some reason my hair (and nails) for way stronger when I went on the Pill, though that was just a pleasant side-effect - I wouldn't recommend going on it just to strengthen your hair! But if you were considering it anyway, it might help

What do you mean by getting the split ends taken out? Do you literally ask the hairdresser to remove your split ends?

Get the ends cut off, and then start to eat lots of proteins and nuts.
See if it improves over the next few months.

Well split ends always start at the bottom of the hair and move upwards, so if you get your hair cut it should get rid of all the split ends. If your hair is very bad you may need to get a lot cut off, but since you said it's only been for the last couple of weeks then you should be fine
