MTV on Chorus

    Can anyone tell me if MTV is part of th chorus basic analog package please?

    MTV ain't available on some areas in analogue, but both MTV 1 and Vh 1 are available as part of the basic DIGITAL package aswell as The Box.

    Not in Limerick! We get no music channels on the basic channels on cable here - same goes for analogue MMDS in Limerick and Clare (and possibly elsewhere) as far as I know.

    Thanks for your replies lads - so it's available in some areas as part of basic service. I thought they had standardised the offering!!!

    Nah, Chorus are full of lies. Their cable offerings seem to differ quite a lot throughout the country (possibly due to Chorus being a hideous mess of mergers). For example you can actually get digital cable (including broadband!) with them in Clonmel.

    digital cable now theres a novelty. I havent heard of it around here in the midlands. just cancelled chorus cable today.I got a ftv card and an rte aerial and its just as good as their basic cable. they charge nearly30 euro a month now for their basic analogue cable.
