Have you ever felt like killing yourself???? cause i know i have but i doubt i would, im just really depressed the past few years... ive been suspended over 20 times from multiple school's and in the end i got an explusion from 2 and i was bearly alound finish my junior cert... and its all my own fault, if i could go back in time i would i just wish i could have a second chance at life and to top that the friends i hung around with started doing drugs, stabbing people and just being typical scumbags... and there was 3 of us out of the group that stop hanging with them because they were idiots and then yesterday my best friend started fighting with me over something stupid! and then today i found a topic here on boards saying how depressed he is and he has just stoped talking to me now...now im going to hit my puching bag while waiting for replys

I do not want this thread to turn into a slagging match between the two of you.
I have already closed said thread and I will ban the both of you if you start again on this one.
I suggest ye both sit down and talk calmly to each other without acting like kids.
If you cannot do that, then move on and find yourself new friend/new hobbies.
there is always a way to sort out your life if you want to badly enough.

seriously man, you're only 16? You've still got your whole life, you're talking as if you've ruined your whole life!!!

It's all bollox man, you're still getting an education and you still have lots of option open to you, a 30 year old who works in Burger King MAY have little hope left but a 16 year old who's just had a bit of trouble? So what, make the changes now, do well in school and start your new life from now, if you really think you've ruined everything then you're in for a rude awakening when you reach the times of paying rent, bills, insurance, food etc, you have a WHOLE lot more to worry about.

OP, I think your option is VERY clear that you have to do that year thing you mentioned and get your life back on track.
maybe it is better that you don't hang around with the other guy, so at least you can concentrate on your studies and make something of your life.
    16 years of age, eh?
Man I didn't know what I was going to do until I was 18/19 and I have turned out very good imho. (even though I am Big, nasty and ugly ;) )

Wish you all the best for the future, everybody deserves it

No im not 16 i have only turned 15 this month and yes of course im going on to do my leaving and then if i get enought points a college course would be nice... just like depressing as its not normal to have been suspended 20+ times and i know everyone of you would agree and its not like im some sort of scumbag i just have behavioral problems in school.

Edit* what u mean you smell bs what could i possibly be lying about?? getting suspension's and expulsion's? i mean come on im not that pathetic...

Sure there's loads of examples like that, just depends on what mood the mod is in, plus Beruthiel was probably too stupid to realise what "Am I the only one that smells something???" meant in the first place, so thought hey I can ban someone.

I like the way you removed cotillions last comment for no reason. To those that didn't see it, it basically said to irishpimpdude that at least him getting banned would have made irishpimp laugh a bit (if he's post is true), as it made cotillion laugh, which means it would be worth the ban. Made me laugh, sure it's all a bit of craic at the end of the day!!!!!

No it's not. However you are young and that means that when you come to be 18 most of that stuff won't be anyone's business. Unlike getting into trouble as an adult (which can result in a criminal record). You have a chance to turn things around.

Don't hang out with people who facilitate negative behaviour in you. Even if they're okay people, and maybe less prone to getting into trouble than yourself, but somehow things just sort of happen when you're around them.

Try to get a counsellor if you haven't already. Talk to people at youthreach or your doctor.

It's quite common for people with behavioural problems in school to have a smaller number of subjects they do very well in, but some compulsory subjects they are less good at. If you are like that consider doing 'A'-levels instead of the leaving - fewer subjects at but each at a higher level than with the leaving.

Yeah i have had a counsellor and thank god i havent already got a criminal record...

Man you've got your whole life ahead of you and loads of time to get back on track.

    1. Do your LC. Whatever way you have to do it just do it. I tried doing up a CV for a mate of mine recently that has incredible brains and could strip an engine to its components and put it back together better then it was before. He's was trying for a couple of good mechanic jobs but nobody would take him without the LC. He left school when he was 16. Worst CV ever. Terrible waste.

    2. Get away from Drugs. The badtimes FAR outweigh the good times. Ive done pretty much everything and spent far too long depressed at the state of my life. Lost mates/girlfriends nearly got trouble with cops. Got rid of drugs. Life improved allmost instantly beyond belief and no more depression or wanting to die. Beleive me there were times i wanted to die.

    3. Get far away from your friends if they're no good for you. You keep going down the stabbing road, your only friends are gonna be jailers.

    4. Sort out the problems you have with your good mates if you want them in your life. Fighting over something stupid aint worth it if there's a decent friendship underneath.

Forget whats happened to you and start making stuff better. You can do it.

That sounds like a good idea. I agree with that.

You say you are depressed and your life is ruined. I think you just havent realised that you have to get pro-active. Things done just magically get fixed (even though i wish it would). you gotta do something about sorting it out. Dont be afraid to. If your friend cant understand that then no offense but f**k him. He's not really a friend but is only thinking bout himself..and you know what...thats exactly what he should be doing. And so should you. Stop thinking about him and the sh*t going on.

You can fix it. Get help, work harder. It pays off. We've all felt like this and ben there...maybe not exactly what you are in but sort of in a way.

If your serious about wanting it better then I know you will make it so.

    Good luck, man.
