Message from cdwow regarding ESB code

What can I say! I used the code a few times and it worked! Ah well :rolleyes:

"We are writing to you with regard to an order you placed earlier this year
involving a discount offer through the ESB.
This offer should have entitled you to a EUR 2.00 discount from an item but it
has come to our attention that at a certain point during the running of this
offer there may have been a price discrepancy that meant you did not get the
full discount. We know not every order was affected but yours may have been
one of the ones that was.
We would like to take this opportunity to apologise to you very much. This
mistake was down to human error, there was no intention to deliberately
overcharge any customer, and we are sorry that it happened.

As a gesture of apology we are sending you another voucher for EUR 2.00 which we hope you will be happy to use on a future order with CD WOW!"

I got one too. I tried to use one last week when I was ordering Lost. It wouldn't work, then I discovered that it had expired at the end of July. I'm almost sure the previous one I had did work a while back. I'm not complaining, though!
