OK, let's play a little game here.... without cheating and checking the source of the image (or looking at Chrisguitars ;) ) - how much do you think this set of 1962 Fender Strat knobs are selling for?

    C'mon, no cheating! :D

I'm gonna say the price of a new MIM Strat. €450.

Silly collectors. They still make them, but they're less worn if you buy new ones. Old guitars I understand, but this is ridiculous.

What's Chris on about "hockey-stick lines" and "straight grip lines"? Is there any difference that a mortal can see?

    10-15 quid?

Edit:  Wow, They're just knobs!!

I'm gonna take a wild guess at 350 squid...

Man, this is like the good all days watching Bruces price is right.

They're only knobs.. I'll go for a nice round 200... cause vintage guitars are so "in" right now.

I'll go with frankie and giblet on this one, 200 squids

If you look at the vertical lines on the upper half of the knob, check out where they meet that part where it slopes out towards the bottom. On the $200 knobs there's a tiny little lip at the end of the vertical grooves where they look like teeeny little (American) hockey sticks whereas the $100 set from 1982 are stright all the way down. Yeah, I know what you're thinking, that's certainly worth an extra $100 ;)

I'll give you a tenner for the lot and hope that includes the fitting service.

I've seen worn out strat necks go for over 3000 easy. Its pretty mad alright.

Well if they're going to give me the volume and tone of a '62 strat I suppose they're worth the price.

Hey... did you just call me a cheater?! I just picked a nice solid round number, I've no idea about most of this guitar shiz, but I know knobs shouldnt cost 600 yo.. yet vintage is so in, so more then 100 maybe. Ah who knows. I notice the wee hockey thing... barely.
