*Please, only respond to this poll if you're able to come!*

Anyway, please vote above. If you happen to be within walking distance of the place, please do let me know. Also, if anyone needs details of transport, check www.irishrail.ie or www.buseireann.ie for timetables. If you're stuck and don't know where to get off, tell me where you're from and how you're getting there, and I'll either meet up with you or if you're local enough to Dublin, you can join the group that I'm going to arrange that'll be departing from Heuston.

How are you getting there? 2 votes

I'm going to be driving down and I'll have room for a few more. I wouldn't mind a bit of a drive either (I'm not doing a lap of the country though ;) ) so if anyone wants to try and get a lift, PM me with where you are and I'll see how things work out.

Does anyone know for definite what the dates are? Cause I can't give a definite yes until I know.

Also, do we just bring sleeping bags, and sleep within the castle?

I'm working on finding out now.

That's what many of us used to do in the PRAI. I need to buy a new sleeping bag on that note.

Cheers Kennett.. yeah, I reckon I'll need to get a new sleeping bag as well - and a warm one at that, this could be a chilly old castle :D

Okay, it seems the majority are going for the weekend of the 24th/25th, so I'm scheduling a trip over for something like the 22nd as I said I'd be there a couple of days before. I'll be making preparations for the investigation in the meantime. Also, I have yet to decide whether I'm going to go to Dublin to meet up with you guys, or meet up with you at Tullamore station. Anyone who wants my number, feel free to private message me, and I'll give it to you. I'll probably you my UK number as well, as I can't recieve anything on my Irish mobile at the moment. Failing that, you can email me, or pm me for my MSN. Provided I'm not preoccupied, and it's before 1am, I should be available to talk.

With regards to Charleville being a chilly old castle, it can be at times, depending on the weather. There are beds as well there, so some of you guys may be sleeping on beds, but at minimum, you should have an air mattress.
