I'm repeating and dropping Irish, considering dropping French too as the school has advised me to only do 6 subjects.

    Maths
    French
    Chemistry

I`m repeating and doing 7 subjects

    Accounting
    Ag Science
    Biology
    Chemistry
    Classical Studies

    Honours Maths.

If HM doesn`t work out I can drop down to pass and it will act as a back up subject.

Hi, I know this has come up on another thread but there were opposing responses. Do I need to repeat maths for matriculation purposes when applying to NUI Galway in order to achieve enough points for a particular course, i.e. do points and matriculation results need to be from the same sitting? Am awaiting a response from the Admissions office but thought someone on here might know the answer.
    Thanks

Your points score has to be all in one sitting - however if you have enough points for a course, but didn't fulfil some of the entry requirements, you can just retake that subject(s) the following year and reapply for your course
