Ok so the fact that i aint no inspector columbo i've tried something i havnt done since school(and i tried it on the loo ) BRAINSTORMING.

1. Why the french girl didnt join hurley and the rest, afterall she is obviously at peace with them now. Kinda strange just to say 'hey' after 16 years.

2. She said she changed the radio transmission.(when we first heard it , It was in french) What accent was the original message in. As in, The woman Hurley visited said her husband heard them while stationed at a listening post during his Navy days. (sorry bout the long second point) Was this a Vietnam era, WW2 era? Because maybe it has some connection with the hatch at the end.
Is the hatch a downed american plane? Was the original transmission an american(or whatever nations) accent?

I know it doesnt lead to any amazing finds but you never know?
Oh and i loved the bit about Hurley's account saying he owns a box company in Wyoming(spell?) Isn't this Locke's company?.

I think WW2 then 50s to fit with my theory but its a theory there is no solid proof to confirm or deny this

Did anyone else notice the flashback scene where the chinese guy goes to visit the Safety Inspectors house (1st time).
It shows the girl watching TV and Hurley is on it!!! I was soooooo chuffed with myself for spotting this, but then later in the episode it became clear why he was on TV.

Good point about the Box company.
I am wondering now if every charachter is linked somehow?

my taughts as well, that the hatch is belonged to a US plane that was shot down, probably too early for ww2, but perhaps vietnam era..

Wonder if the 2 dead skeletons jack found in the cave (when they first moved in) have anything to do with it ??
