Just wondering if anyone can give an answer on this...I'm trying to connect a Raven BJ44 Quad LNB to a sky minidish (to add a 2nd digibox) on any connector I try its coming up as 'no satellite signal being received' and as I got it from Ebay and unfortunately arrived with no instructions not sure if this means its faulty or if i'm doing something wrong.

It specified suitable for Sky digital and had a mini dish adaptor with it and the single LNB which was supplied at installation (a cambridge one) is working fine....any ideas as havent heard back from seller yet but just wondering is there anything I'm missing!

OK - have done a search on this thread and apparently there is a dial on the side that should be set to 3 - now have checked and it is set to 3 but is there anything else I can try....

If your original lnb is ok and you have not moved the dish i would suspect the quad lnb is not working, put the single lnb back on and check the dish has not moved

Seller got back to me ....and confirmed that if all above tried and failed then as Tony says faulty.

Can anyone reccommend a good make/model quad or dual LNB (its just for adding an extra digibox)

    Thanks for the help!

I would have a Skyware universal quad (SX719QS/S) that I' not using anymore (was working when I took it down). It's a 0.6dB and was working perfectly for me at the time. Only used it for about 2 month, then the guy I was sharing the dish with moved and I had to get a new dish.
You can pick it up in Dublin for 20.- if you want. Not sure about posting as it's not as light as a single LNB :)

All sorted thanks to Hugoline, brilliant signal strength and 2 digiboxes running away happily.

    Cheers - great result!

    Hi
I have just bought a Skyware universal quad (SX719QS/S) to use for Sky Plus, unfortunately I haven't any instructions with it.
I have at present one cable running from the dish to the box and understand I need will two with the (SX719QS/S).
Which of the four connectors do I use please, save me running up and down the ladders trying any two from four
    Thanks
    Keith

All 4 LNB outputs are fully independant, it won't matter which 2 you use!
