    Just read that Terry Gilliam was passed over for the director of Harry Potter & the Philosopher's Stone [he was JK Rowling's choice as director]!!

    What could have been :(

    I always thought that the first two flicks were too nice ... If Time Bandits is anything to go by, he would have made them a lot darker & destroyed the "nice" image!

    the first two were terrible films and even worse adaptions of the book.
    they din't follow the story line and the 3 main actors (harry, ron, hermione) couldn't act at all.
    the only reason worth watching was snape and dumbledore.
