Probationary Contract - Holiday pay

Looking for some advice on holiday pay here.

Basically a friend of mine was fired recently, and they were working on a probationary contract.

The contract they signed stated that they were to receive 20 days holiday for the year, but they only worked 6 weeks.

It works out that after 6 weeks, they were due 2 days holidays.

Question is, can they claim 2 days pay, even though they were on a probationary contract.

I've looked up www.oasis.gov.ie but it has no mention of contract types in relation to holiday pay.

    Cheers.

Well, in case anyone else was curious, they do have to pay.

Seems it took them a while to sort it out, cause the only person in the office who could, was on holidays....
