I have often wondered, what would peoples lifes be like if the majority of modern technology as we know it was not around today. Well would yours be much different ?

    'twould be probably be better...

People would focus more on the important things, the fundamentals of life as opposed to the false sense of importance that technology bears...

Well I wouldn't have a job for starters, and depending on how modern 'modern' means I'd probably be dead too.

Life would be **** without modern technology.

With the intarweb, you can get information about absolutely ANYTHING at the click of a button. You can get images of anything-if I want a picture of the Taj Mahal or a Harlequin Dutch rabbit, they're right there in Yahoo Images, as opposed to spending hours in a library looking for them.

    To prove my point:

But if you had to work hard to find those pictures it would make them az lot more special...

Kind of simple. Without the current tech, I wouldn't be able to see, hear, and I'd have died about 12 years ago. New tech for teh win.

In terms of medicine, modern technology has be responsible for the lives of millions of people.

For a person with e.g testicular cancer in these modern times, they have a extremely high success rate where as over ten years ago the chance of recovery looked slim

Then we think of the future and Stem cell technology, think what those times are going to be like....bottom line, technology rocks!

Drastically different I say. In fact I'd probably have died before the age of five.

I would be almost ready to go out instead of what I will be doing now, which is a mad rush around the place to find something to wear and get some makeup on very quickly!
But at least I can text my friend and tell her I'll be late!

When I'm throwing together a project, with a hangover and a two minute deadline I don't need it to be special, I need it to be worth 40%. ;)

Technology has definitely enriched my life. God, I dread to think what weird sickly nerds did in the days before technology.

Life wouldn't be too bad without the luxury technology like microwaves, computers, mobiles, tvs and the sort, if we didn't have such sh*tty weather! At least then we could get off our bums and go outside, without getting drenched :P

What is that project for? Sure enough if technology was non existant then so too would be your project.

modern technology is good thing in my opinion, it has been a great enabling feature in that it has freed us to pursue other things than just the necessaries or living, it frees our minds and indeed our prejudices at times, for instance on the internet I find people are much more open and amenable than in other surroundings class, race, creed are not as important a pressure for lots of people. I just wish it all started a little bit sooner than it has. The benefits far outweigh any disadvantages!!
    just my 3 cents! ;)
