Over the last week, i am constantly getting this error message popping up on my screen every few minutes, it is getting very annoying now and i'm just wondering if any of you guys know what's up...

I search for the file in question very time, delete it but a new one keeps coming up...

Standard question: Have you tried flushing your entire cache?

Nope cache flushed, still happening :(

Hmm, it *looks* like it's probably a JavaScript error, if you're just actively browsing boards.ie than the cache flush would have fixed it.

If it's another site, maybe there's an error on the site itself.

Or you could try uninstalling and reinstalling the Java Virtual Machine.

Also, put that file it's referring to in an attachment the next time you post.

I'm loathe to say "get firefox", but if you can't resolve the problem that might be a handier solution than the ol' "format & reinstall".

Firefox is a nice browser, I'm using the Deer Park Alpha myself atm!

It's on nearly every site, started with just Boards but now it seems to be growing?

When you say reinstall the Java Virtual Machine, is that basically reinstall java?

    I can't say i know the format & reinstall method either! :o

If i was to download firefox, would that mean i couldn't use exploror anymore? I might try firefox, it's just that i'm very conservative with my browser, have always used explorer.

Ok, well, in fairness you're best bet is probably Firefox then. You can use IExplorer if you want at the same time, Firefox doesn't delete it, just gives you an extra browser and if you find a fix for the problem you can always switch back to IE.

I couldn't go back to IE tbh, Firefox has some nifty features than you get used to without realizing it :).
