Came up with this monster last night, and thought I might share it with the various guitarists here. Basically, my technique has been fairly sloppy and I've been making up various excersizes to help me along and to iron out the flaws in my technique. This excersize is for speed and accuracy, because when playing around last night I came up with the basic shape and found that I was fumbling up more than normal than with other things, so it became an effective tool for building accuracy at speed.

Now, this is nothing original, and I'm sure someone has done somthing very similar before. I'm not trying to be original here, just trying to get a good excersize out there. Sounds a bit like Muse tbh. Anyway, if you can get the 16th note speed down, you're flying. ;)

You expect us to be able to play measures 7-8!?

That last speed if a little ridiculous, I know. Just to be clear, no I can't play that fast either.

Karl, what bpm is that exercise running at? Cannot see it in Powertab. Just wondering as I happen to have a metronome handy and will try it out later.

By the way, is that you in your signature or who?..!

I'm nearly at the speed of the last section, it's just a bit hard to switch strings while keeping the bpm.
