I'm curious if anyone's tried any of these new marketing pyramid schemes? I got a link recently from a friend about one, which supposidly delivers you free products, such as iPods and games consoles, if you get x amount people to join up, who then get another x amount of people to join up.

I've edited out the link as it's hard to have a discussion while it's basically your referral link in the topic.

My initial reaction is always that all these things are scams in one form or another, though it's not really a topic I'm interested in. Perhaps other people are though.
