Mostly for games snappieT, have upgraded the RAM in the PC and now want a good gaming graphics card, doubt my budget covers the 6600GT Nollaig, I was checking it out before but looks a bit pricy. Took a quick look on komplett, what do ye make of this one http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.asp?sku=307924&cks=PLS. Thanks for the replys guys

If time isn't an issue I'd keep an eye on the FS Hardware Forum. You will pick up a second hand Radeon 9800Pro for around the €100 mark and that would knock the socks off most of the cards mentioned. The X700 is only a PCI-E card as far as I know.

hi, have a look on ebay and even though it might say post to uk, email seller and money talks, they will charge a bit extra but its worth it. I like ATI and NVIDIA. there is a 256 ram ati 9800 pro going for £85.00, get that and u wont go far wrong for next 3 years at least. could be even cheaper.

I'm afraid I am a bit confused, should I look for an older or secong hand 9800 pro, or would I be better off spending the same kind of money on a new card??

say what spec u currently have ie clock speed, total ram, make of chip, amd or intel, say what games u like and then we can say a bit more.

    My graphics card

It's class for the price and renders all new games such as HL2/F.E.A.R demo etc. at high settings beautifully. I'd recommend getting more RAM too.
