    Anyone know what's happened?
    Any results?
    Are they still playing?
Did KP go nuts and take it down for Connacht or did the Ulster boys triumph?

I think (and i could be wrong), that it was split by Pat Griffin, Ken Corkery and Niall Mulcaghy.

    Connacht 492
    Munster 480
    Leinster 393
    Ulster 303
Amazingly the top three players were from Munster but the lead Connacht built up was incredible. Thanks to a proper team talks from Roy the Boy and some good ideas on strategy from Derek the dangerous the cup has found it s right home.
Favorites Ulster could nt get anything together, team captain Paul Leckey was their highest finisher in 10th I think.

I'm trying to figure out why are the Dubs so brutal at poker.

    1.Niall o Flynn
    2.Pat Griffen
    3.Ken Corkery
    4.Tommy Watson
    5.Chris Farragher

Paul Leckey came in either 6th or 7th.
KP nuts 8th. It s all a bit hazy.
Antes up sent a representative and He did a full detailed report. He was there from start to finish and should have a complete write up and full results.

What a weekend! Just got home, midnight Sunday after taking in Kerry's training run at Croker. Full credit must go to Pokerevents, The Merrion and the sponsors for a superbly well organised and hugely enjoyable event. I found everyone I met to be extremely friendly and the craic beforehand in the pub, during the break in the pub and afterwards in the, er, pub was brilliant. There was a lot of banter between the teams and the team shirts were a great idea which added to the atmosphere.

As might have been expected the standard of play was extremely high. When I sat down and looked around me I found myself staring at Ken Powell, Derek Murray, Fergal Finn and Stephen Dunphy. These were just the faces I knew something about. Also at the table were Carl Longmore and Conor Ainsworth, who turned out to be a super player - very aggressive and almost impossible to put on a hand. It was a super tight table with loads of respect being shown in the first two hours and I was finding it hard to pick anything up. I only saw 2 hands in that time - first I got KK about 1 hour in and rerasied to 900 a raise of 300 as there were 4 to act after me and the original raiser immedately folded. Then last hand before the break got AA in small blind and with 5 limpers I raised a 200 blind to 1000 and everyone folded. That was it for me. I burned some chips in a tangle with KP when I had to fold on the turn to a pot committing bet from him when I was holding a decent PP with KK53 on board. I went out when I decided to go all in for my last 2.5 K with 55, got called in 3 places, spiked a 5 on the flop and came 4th in the hand!

I spent several hours today suffering greatly but it was all worth it - as I said at the start, what a weekend!

Ouch .. If that happened on PPP, the villian would be called a naughty Nicky O'D 'F' word.
