I Applied to Trinity hall as well, and am also waiting for a response. I rang the accommodation office, and they said that should know by next Wednesday, but it could possibly be up to a week later.

Don't worry 'bout it,I don't think they've gone through all the things yet even and im pretty sure I didn't get anything in the post.
I was talking to 1 or 2 friends and they didn't get it yet and I would say they have a good chance of getting it.
    So just be patient!

I applied last week and still no word yet...I'm starting to get worried now cos if I don't get into the halls, I don't have a clue where I'll live! When I rang up the office they said that apparently the decision won't be made til the end of the week and that obviously preference will go 2 all the international students. I'm from way up north in Donegal so I'm hoping the distance will work 2 my advantage! Where are you from?

Any chance of a link to the page where you pay your deposit?

I rang the Accommodation Office today, and I have been offered a room. The offers are a continuous process: you generally find out about a fortnight after you apply. (I applied on August 28th.)

Does anyone know if utilities are included?

I got offered a modern single, not taking it though 'cos staying at home is both closer to college and cheaper... got offered it though! :p

Nope, they're extra, two payments of ~€265.

So, all your electricity and gas for €530 for the year?

    That sounds fairly reasonable.

I guess so..well, it's more like 8 months of the year.

Does anyone know when the moving-on date is? Apparently I can't just move in whenever I like, even though I have paid my deposit.

your paying for the college term, the deposit is a bit of a moot point...

usually for college campus its the start of freshers week, so i assume trinity hall is the same.

All the first years move in on the Friday before Freshers' Week (ie 30 September). There will be various activities, talks and tours on that weekend.
