    Yeah its a savage program allright! Ive downloaded so many random jazz files and prog rock pieces and have really learned loads from it!

    P.S:Just checkin my comp there I have 835mb of guitar pro files (32,207 tab files!) :D

    Yes, it's allright
    Its a tab editing program that reads/writes/edits tab files and plays them back through midi (most with quite good backing tracks)

    Yeah guitar pro is brilliant.. I use it all the time for tabbing stuff I make up and for learning songs. Tried powertab but I didn't like the interface... found it harder to use.

    well im new to it but i am learning, but the only thing is where can i get decent tabs for it ? and also the choice of electric acoustic jazz and classic doesnt really sound like the real thing, yeah i know you couldnt really expect to hear the real thing but it sounds like that ring tone shi*

    I prefer Power Tabs but the program stopped working on my old computer so I was forced to used this...

    I havent used PowerTab much, but i stand by Guitar Pro 4. So useful, but any songs that have tempo changes cant be tabbed properly. Its great fun to mess around with compositions, even though they usually sound rubbish.
