I'm planning on going inter-railing through Europe next summer for a month. I'm booking through USIT who use http://www.interrailing.com/ireland/.

I'm gonna book the "Global" ticket.

But I wanna know what the best cities in Europe to visit are. Where are the best places to go? Italy? Switzerland? Where??

If you've done it or know anyone that has, can you please give me some advice?? Thanks! ;)

Hey Eskimo, I went for a month this summer :)

I went thru Eastern europe and it was great. some places I strongly recomend is Prague, Croatia(I went to dubrovnich, but I suppose it's beautiful everywhere there), Budapest(though I didn't really see that much but everyone says it's a great city)
well, mostly Prague, you have to go there.
the good thing about eastern europe is that it is really cheap.

Good plan to go interrail, it's a perfect way of seeing europe and so much good fun

Europe is the best place in the world for travelling.

All the advice is you need is to look at a map of Europe, pick a city that you'd really like to go to, buy the flight to the city, stay a night, if you like it stay another if not move on. that should be your mindset.

Berlin rocks, Rome is amazing, all of Eastern Europe is wild! The Greek Islands are worth a trip so is Croatia, Serbia etc. Scandinavia is a bit too expensive for travelling. Railway system in Spain is meant to be a disaster.

Just go with an open mind.
