    installed linux on my machine " work this mornin, cept keyboard does not work at all,
    anyone experienced anyhtin like this ??

    Happened to me with a Bus mouse before,
    It would only work with a serial mouse..Thats prolly no help to U tho'

    i think if its a USB keyboard then your screwed unless its a new release of Linux.
    otherwise it just doesn't seem to be loading the proper driver for it which is down to your setup program..
    dunno how to fix it without being able to type smile.gif

    its screwed up, its a standard ps2 keyboard,
    brand new machine, tho it is a compaq, but thats not likely to cause huge problems,

    i give up, i finish this job in an hour anyway, & 2 weeks of usin nt has been far more than i can take tongue.gif , its just the first time ive ever had any trouble installing linux, and dammed if i know why..
