Depends what type of firewall. I assume you are at uni, possibly finding your JANET connection blocked on everything but port 21?

    Or at work maybe?

You just wanting to play games?

Buy the network manager a few pints. Works for me!

You need to find a comp that has permanent internet connection. If you are using win95, nuke the other pc and spoof your ip,gateway and subnet mask to the same as the other computer. Either that or get your sys admin to give you an internet proxy password somehow.

    first of all,
I am working in tallaght hospital and I already have internet access

The Fire wall was set up to stop constant access to the internet!
    The hospital uses WinNT.
the reason I want to get past it is for games playing.

Thanks for the help anyway smile.gif
