Dublin to Galway to Cliffs of Moher

    Hey Folks,

    Planning a trip, and it's gonna happen very quickly. As such I need some help and advice. Possibly this should be in the Travel forum, but as it's not as widely read, and there is a different mentality there, I thought here would be the best place.

    I'm in Dublin and wanted to take the GF to see Galway and the Cliffs of Moher. I was planning on leaving saturday night, and coming back monday evening.
    I want to get down to Galway for saturday night, sunday night, and then on monday take a trip to the Ciffs of Moher. As it's all rather unplanned and I haven't saved for it, I'd like to do it as cheaply as possible. Does anyone have any reccomendations on somewhere to stay while in galway, and of how to get to the cliffs while there? What's the easiest/cheapest way to get there and back to Galway?

    Any help would be much appreciated. She hasn't seen too much outside of Dublin, and it's been years since I was over that side of the country, so would be good!
