first things first go get the morning after pill... while your there ask about everything else... thats the best advice I think anyone can give you... If you don't feel comfortable going to your own Doctor go to the nearst clinic. I think there's a sticky with all the STI Clinics in it

I know these things can just happen sometimes by accident but seriously you are going to have to be more careful in future or you are going to be sorry, you could end up with an unwanted pregnancy or infection...

Go to your local STD clinic a.s.a.p for peace of mind, it just involves a smear or blood test.

Some STI take 3 months to show.
See a doctor - they'll tell you the facts.

NO ONE HERE IS A DOCTOR.

The OP might be a bloke, hence their question only relating to STIs.

It could be up to 6mnth before you get the all clear from Hiv.
Other Sti's have different incubation times.
    Go talk to your Dr.

Some sti can be treated, some will be with you for life,
but Hiv will eventaully kill you.

    Ah the STI test...

I had one not so long ago after a scare after having a burst condom scare. It's not the most comfortable experience in the world, but it's definitely worth it.
But, get it done, it's nice to know you're in the clear for everything that's going.. and in future, carry a johnny, there's no excuse not to these days.. I say that in the nicest way.

    MIC.

Okay, if the OP is a woman, then she should get the early-morning pill.

OP, you should get tested soon to catch the more immediately apparant infections (or any you may actually already have - protected sex isn't 100% safe) and then you should get tested again in a couple of months time to catch any infections that weren't detectable at the time of the first test (HIV antibodies, for example, take 2-4 weeks to appear in most cases of infection and can take up to 8).

Really though...if you had a worry about unprotected sex and had access to the whole of the Internet for information, would you post a query to a group where no one has any medical knowledge or run a quick search?

Wel if the OP was silly enough to have unprotected sex, then they may not think of using the Interweb to find info !

    Go to a Doctor / Clinic !

Brilliant sense of logic there. I always use the net for research..so i have never had unprotected sex. If only it were true.
