If you don't like the job, why don't you just find a new full time one? I was recently job searching the IT industray and there seems to be plenty of work out there. Just search all the various jobs sites (and IT companies web sites as well) and I reckon you will find something you'll want to do.

I would look for another job but it dosent look good on a CV if you quit so soon after you start a job, so what i thought was that i could get experience with other IT jobs like networking while i have loads of time off with my current full time job.

Even if the money wasnt great I would be benefiting from the experience

Well don't put it on the CV, but there is no harm in applying for a new one in the mean time. You can often enough explain away a short time at a job. Say you were contracted for a short period or something.

Also don't sell yourself short like that. I did that before and it meant I nearly didn't get the job.
