Well done on this poll though Jamie.. you didn't fall into the same trap that most people do when they create these polls. ie. 18-21, 21-25, 25-30.... etc...

Well, it's not that old and it's the official boards.ie census. It's far more accurate than any poll you could possibly run in After Hours as the census thread was announced site-wide.

Actually, this is the first I've heard of it. I have just filled in the official census, but I'd say a lot of boards users are new and weren't around for the census. It should be part of the signup sheet, so the info is automatically added whenever anybody new joins.

ah come on now... it was only 4 months ago that the survey was conducted.

So unless there was influx of over 55's joining the site recently... I'd say it still paints a pretty accurate picture.

I actually praised you for getting the poll correct, because almost everytime someone runs a poll like this they get it wrong, as I showed in the example I gave.

I thought you were genuinely interested in the age profiles of boads.ie users so I pointed you in the direction of the most comprehensive resource on this subject.

You've clearly taken me up the wrong way though...

At times its' fairly easy to tell the bracket from the type.

The boards census is still a more reliable gauge tbh... I mean, 1500+ boardsies voted on that. This thread has no chance of reaching that number.
