I've been wondering what model is good I just want something basic but decent to play with reason on. I know I know you'll probably scoff at the noob but I have so much music in my head I just want to put it into sound. I'm always coming out with things that I just lose because i don't keep them by creating them so I want to give it a go but the problem is I haven't a clue about what keyboard to get or where to get it so has anyone any advice?

I've got an M-Audio Keystation 49e, €99 from thomann. 49 velocity sensitive keys, USB powered, MIDI and USB interface, pitch bend and modulation controllers. Its not fancy but I haven't found anything wrong with it. Its only a controller, no synth or audio output.

Yeh I expect about 100-130 is what I'm gonna have to pay. So that 122 jobby looks like all I'd need. Any other suggestions much appreciated too tho.

    Thanks
