Based on the IAAF rankings as at 22/8, Sonia O' Sullivan is still the no 1 Irish athlete, but Derval O' Rourke isn't far behind. Seems like a fair reflection of current status to me except for Cragg who's inactivity in the summer has seen him drop off the lists.

O'Sullivan - 1204
O'Rourke - 1197
Shinkins - 1189
Gillick - 1177
Loughnane - 1174
Jolene Byrne - 1158
Sheehy - 1147
McGettigan - 1145
Nolan - 1145
Carroll - 1144
