Meh not really, 250 odd words on some things is easy, you'd ahve it done in 5 minutes.

Also, rumour has it, if you signed a NDA with your contract, then lots of sections of the co-op report are non applicable, and you can just say 'I cant talk about this' :)

I think i might get my boss to make one up! If they see that when reading the report, they cant prove anything.

I've just finished my co-op report. What course are you in because I can send you the one that I used as my basis if you want. It's from KPMG Tax, if you're in the business line.

Slightly OT - pal o'mine had a co-op job with a certain firm out Shannon direction (dunno is it even still there!)...suffice to say it wasn't the most satisfactory of gigs...and he spent a lot of time using the photocopier.

He kept at his boss saying this was no sort of 'work experience' but the boss was having none of it...

he submitted, as his co-op report, the Operating Manual for the Minolta MX50-c office photocopier...

he got a great job on his second time out...

I signed 3 god damn NDA's and **** me if I'm gonna go into detail about what I did. It was passed by the HR of the company and thet wouldn't give me any extra company details either.

How long more do you have, time-wise, to lengthen it so?

Get someone from HR to e-mail them and ask why it failed on your behalf. They cannot fail you if someone from HR has passed you and your boss signed off. Its like calling them liar's and saying they are sh!t at reading it:o. Went through something similar when i was there,f00kers never signed the clause so had the head of coop read it and shred it straight away. They are well picy; told me as they had no reference and hard copy 2wks later i failed:until i reminded them:rolleyes:

I was in the damn HR office when she rang the co_op office to ask about it for me. Co_Op said it would be fine.

 idiots. it wasn't handed back yet but damned if I'm failing it.

So do the co-op people actually read the reports and look for quality writing or is it a case of "give us the requisite length report and you'll be fine"?

Another question...the coop office want the report bound. What exactly are they looking for, the report stapled together or bound with golden thread?

only problem? i'm on erasmus in Norway - bye bye €30!
it's a disaster, don't tell me there's someone in UL who actually reads this stuff
