Looking to form Progressive Rock/Metal band in Galway

24-08-2005 9:14pm#1Guitarist (23) seeks to form band in Galway. Ideally, I'd be looking for another Guitarist, Drummer, Bassists, Keyboard player, and if there's nobody among the ranks who can sing, possibly a Vocalist aswell.
Influences are many and varied, but for this band I've envisioned something along the lines of Dream Theater, Opeth, Green Carnation, Anathema and so on. Basically nothing too heavy, but leaning very much in the direction of Prog. Sound interesting to anyone? Baggio? DoctorJ? Ancient1? Care to relocate to Galway?

Not really got any tunes, just some assorted riffs. I've been doing nothing but technique for a while now, I just haven't written anything at all in ages, and I just need to get off my arse and get the creative juices flowing again, you dig? I need to get some decent playing experience aswell.0 -
