Step 1: Give them to your mom/girlfriend

I always wear crappy jeans so there has very rarely been the need for an iron in my life.

Either get a new girlfriend or just wear shorts more often.

Hang the slacks flat on a hanger and you'll see the natural crease.
Just work it then when ironing.
Slack are a synch to iron.... shirts are just a pain! :D
    ah, they aint so bad...

    my established routine is:

    take raw creased trousers
figure out where crease should go - usually by matching seams
iron( with steam) the crease on outside side several times
flip over and tackle creas on other side vigourously
Flip back and repeat on original side
    and again on inside
run a quick slide over remaining section of tousers.

It becomes an artform after many years.

    Or just change jobs

Much of the above advice, but another trick is to use brown paper when ironing, and not the real light paper bag stuff, though not to the cardboard extreme either. Just put it over the trousers when you are ironing them.
