I had braces for 3 years and 2 years latter one of my teeth went out of place(going behind 1 of my front teeth) and 3 other moved a bit. Now my teeth still look straight with exp from that 1 . So I am getting braces again for 6 months next week, Do you think I am right in doing this?

P.s the prick of a orthodontist moved from Dundalk(Where I live) to Navan and now to Dublin, only ever had 1 treatment in Dundalk

I had braces myself. I'm finished now though.

I think you're doing the right thing. It's a few months or years of discomfort for hopefully decades of happiness.

I think you should do it.

You are right, i had them for 3 years, they're not that bad at all. Worth it in the long run.

I had them, hated every minute, and avoided smiling, and sometimes talking, for the whole time they were on (I was really self concious) but now that they are off, I can't stop grinning, so if the tooth bothers you, and the braces didn't go for! If it makes you happy, then it's really worth it.

i had train tracks for 4 years and a retainer for 3 years. I think your definately doing the right thing. I really miss my braces-they were painful, but totally worth it. I liked having them, esp when I started to see the end result. With regards to your orthodontist moving his practise, maybe he could refer you to 1 in your area
