I up graded to xp about a week or so ago.i completly reformatted my OS drive to NTFS.my other harddrive, which i use for storage of music and the like i did nothing to.when i was finished installing there was another drive called system (E:)

this "drive" had a mymusic folder in it that contained loads of albums and stuff but only filenames and a few fragmented mp3s and no actual full files of music.these fragmented files were not the actual songs that they were titled but bits of music that i added to the harddrive lately..think these folders were present on the harddrive bofore i got it as it was already used when i got it.i formatted it when i got it first as i was using win98 then and the drive was NTFS when i got it.
would anyone know if there would be any harm in deleting this?

this shows the drives on my computer c being a 20gb and d being a 80gb and the other one that i dont have a clue about
    harddrives.GIF

    any suggesting would be great
    cheers

    Righ Click (my computer)-manage-disk managment
What do you see? All three drives still? If so is there any chance you had a bigger than thought and partitioned it at some stage?

the attachment below is what that disk managment thing shows. suppose when i upgraded to xp the empty disk space in my second disk might have been converted to ntfs.
do you know if converting a disk from fat32 to ntfs deletes everything on it?

do you have another drive? backup all your files to it. and delete those 2 partitions, and create a new one.

seriously, don't try messing with them until your data files are backed up.
