has anyone used an xga box to play a pal xbox through a pc monitor?

just wondering coz im thinking of getting one as i have a 19" monitor lying around and it would be better than my crap 14" tv.

lik sang has a good one for around 60 quid.

I was in the same position as yourself. Had an xbox but no tv in my room but I had a 19" crt handy. Bought that vga box and have to say im impressed with it. The picture is slightly blurry in menu's "(slight wave effect) but in game unless your sat 1 foot from the screen it looks perfect.

You wont get progressive scan and hi-def with the PAL xbox but it would be better than the 14" TV. You'll definitely get interference lines though so it might be worth weighing it up against the cost of a bigger second hand TV.
