Dont know the right place to post this so I said Id post it here. I dont know if this really exists, well it probably exists but how easy it is to get is another thing but im just wondering if anyone out there would know where I could get the dye stuff one can put on money (notes) that is invisible to look at, but leaves a stain on whoever that touches its hand? Maybe I didn't really explain it very well, but you see it in the films all the time im just wondering if it can be got?? Any help appreciated!!!

There is some dye that you can get that only shows up under uv light I think. You know the stuff they stamp on your hand before you go into a nightclub.Outside you cant see it. But at the door it shows up. Must be some equivalent.

You can get the item you are inquiring about in any security shop or maybe even Easons would have them

Gawd- I remember that stuff- its a DNA dye that flouresces under UV light. If you get it on your hands its impossible to wash off (it lasts 2 or 3 weeks). Anyone who works in a botany lab should be able to swipe some for you. I should warn you that its also carcinogenic.....

I think the pen you are talking about only checks to see if a nank note is real or not. You can get UV ink, but that would dry in pretty quickly and would probably not transfer to someone's hand.

You might be thinking on Ninhydrin,

It's a spray, that reacts with the amino acids in the oils depositied by finger prints. It's used on porus surfaces to show finger prints, and it's damn near impossible to wash off your hands.

It does not need a UV light
