    It uses 1400W but 400W is eaten up in HEAT, bloody hell...keep you warm in winter i guess. Here was me thinking i was a bit bonkers getting a 680W PSU.

    Remind me of an old article from the 2004 E3 regarding Alienware's new ALX machines...
    Given how the flagship system will feature two power hungry processors and two power hungry graphics cards, Alienware will be forced to upgrade the power supply and cooling solutions as well. Here, a custom power supply will provide a dizzying 800W to 1KW of power to keep the system running.

    It was OTT then and its still OTT now...
