Simple Tasty Party nibbles-no cooking

We are going to host a gathering for approx. 20 people in our house in the next couple of weeks.
We don't want to have to cook anything because we will be tight for time on the day in question.
We want to provide food that is not time dependent and doesn't involve cooking.
We have hosted parties where we cooked before, but this is just a family gathering for tea, not a formal sit down affair.
    e.g.

    to eat
    Nachos
    crackers and cheese
    scones with cream + Jam
brown bread and salmon / prawns
sandwiches (any tips please for preparing sandwiches ??)

    To drink
    red and white wine
    tea coffee
    beer
    minerals

    Breaded Mozarella Sticks.
And you have to try this one. On a large platter or plate spread a layer of cream cheese, then guacamole on top of that, then a layer of salsa, topped off with cheese. Scoop it up with tortilla chips. It tastes so good you won't believe it and your guests will love it as they probably have never had it before. Superquin also do nice cheese boards at a decent enough price.

Humous, taramasalata, guacamole, cheese dip, something garlicky - all of the above with breadsticks and/or copious amounts of chopped veggies.

Also - no cooking... if you'd stretch to switching the oven on, there's a whole realm of sausage-roll type minimum-care bakeables out there...

    Great ideas
The only reason I am anti-cooking on this occasion is that all 20 people will arrive home with us so we have no time to cook beforehand.
I will be able to get the oven on the do some sausage roll quiche type stuff once all are half fed on pre-prepared food.
