    Hello all,

Seeing as some of you have popped up on the other irish forums I was just wondering what the response to a Boards Outdoor Pursuits meet would be. It would probably include rock climbing, hill walking, camping or whatever people wanted to do. Personally I'd like to give kayaking a try.

I'll develop the idea further if the feedback is good.

    E.P.

    Admit it Phil,
we're the only 2 people on boards.ie, the rest are computer generated replies!!

No seriously I'd be interested, I'm an average rockclimbing/canoeing/hiking/camping/bivvying kinda guy. And could always do with learning a few new tricks.

A place and a time and a duration, etc etc should be discussed, im not uninterested, but id need lots more information
Add some more options to that poll and you might get a better response.
Id like to give lots of that stuff a go. but ive only done some hiking and hunting and the likes so far. So the level of the people involved in activities would have to be worked out, im sure experienced people will want to do activities with other experienced people, and beginners dont want to have strugle to keep up with the experienced or the Fit, etc etc.
im sure something organised at an activity centre might iron this out though.
    Just some thoughts

I'm not going to put much thought into this until I have an idea of the level of interest. The interest isn't high so it's not going to happen. I suppose Outdoor Pursuits is to broad a subject - on the scuba board we're all into the one sport but here it can be anything.
