My computer seems to keep getting infected with Trojan virus's. Im using AGV but after it finds the virus and deletes it the next day i have four or five again. Any reasons this could be happening?

Scan for spyware or adware that the Trojans could be using to piggyback onto your system.
Keep your anti virus up to date.
Delete your System Restores (if using Windows ME/XP), its possible there could be something hiding in there.
    Stop visiting dodgy websites :)

turn off system restore and windows will delete all the old restore points

do a full virus update and scan before turning it on again

Maybe use Firefox or Opera instead of IE

I use Firefox and am running AVG and maybe once every 2 weeks i would run Adaware and Spybot and it rarely shows up anything other that dodgy cookies

Just get the free MS antispyware. HERE. It's very good at keeping your machine clean. Try it out for yourself.

MS Anti Spyware is now allowing spyware thru. Apparantly Microsoft couldn't prevent themselfs from allowing lovely pop-ups populate users PC's.

And OP, stop looking at dodgy sites!
Get a Firewall. Plently of free ones out there.
Get Ad-Aware SE or Spy Blaster.
Do a MsCongfig on your PC to prevent non-essential files from loading on startup. Usally trojans hide themselfs as system processes.

And stop looking at dodgy sites!

I use MS Antispyware on 4 different PCs. I've tested the blocking ability of it which is easy to do by visiting Astalavista.com which leads to hundreds of potential trojans and spyware infections. Not one single thing got through.

In conjunction with Antispyware, I'm also running SAV version 10 which has a spyware/malware detection engine built in now too. I also patch my machines as soon as a patch becomes available.

The combination of these two pieces of software has kept my pcs virus/spyware/malware etc free since they've been installed.

Having used both Ad-Aware and Spybot previously, I've been very happy with the new two.

A good host firewall would be useful in this situation too, I personally use Kerio which is free for personal use.
