Fag Hags

Why do so many homosexual men seem to have a fat, gobby tart as a pet? And why does every fat, gobby tart crave her very own gay?
It's a puzzling sociological phenomenon, and I'd be fascinated to hear an explanation.
Is it a symbiosis because the hag flatters her gay by telling him how fabulous he is, while the gay is the only male who will look beyond the hag's physical deficiencies and see what a "laugh" she is?

"Eh, he's my best friend, he's a gay you know, he's so beautiful, such a waste etc, hahahahahaha." Well why don't you f**k off back to your pink bedroom full of Forever Friends bears you kebab-munching dullard.

The League of Gentlemen have a really good 'fag hag' character called Tish Guppy... they really nailed that type of person perfectly.

Same as wondering why you assume people have an interest in yours ;)

Tbh, it is something you see quite frequently in life.

Just because it's viewing an aspect of the way some gay guys live does not make it a homophobic view. Which is the more homophobic attitude: to be afraid to make fun of anything about the way some people live their lives because they're gay, or to make light of something about your fellow members of humanity?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,216 ✭✭✭✭monkeyfudge

Oh they do exist alright. A guy in my class back in college actually had two of them.

Watching them walk along together through the corridors was like watching the antithesis of a pimp and his hoes.
