is it worth buying a ps2

    Hi all, im thinking of buying a ps2 and im wonderign if i should hold out just a little longer for the ps3,

    Im dying to play devil may cry again and the final fatasy series ...

    oh yeah and does anyone now the games that will be released with ps3?

    I say theres absolutly no point in getting a PS2 now!(unless you want it for tempermental value)
    Here are a list of games that will be on the PS3:
    1.Def Jam
    2.Madden
    3.Quake
    well just basicly seequels & prequels of everything.......

    The ps3 will not be available in Europe for a considerable amount of time.

    Get a ps2 if you like fantasty RPG games, such as Final Fantasty, and other games such as MGS3 and Devil May Cry.

    If you are an FPS/Action junkie, you'd be better off with an xbox really. Everything looks better, and if you don't like the sort of games that are exclusive to the ps2, you'd enjoy it much more.

    Just noticed you said you like FF and DMC. So I guess that solves that. Id say you should pick up a cheap preowned ps2, you could easily get a preowned slimline ps2, Final Fantasty x, Devil May Cry 1, 2 and 3 for about 150 euro.

    Are anybody making any new types Josnraays espeicaly for the PS3?
