For a sum that small I would imagine that the postal service would be your best bet, just make sure that it is not obvious that there is money in the envelope (e.g. wrap a sheet of paper around it).

offer him more money through paypal. Most are only against it due to the charges, I think it is 4%, stick 10% on and they will probably go for it.

    "Steve,
Sorry if it's inconvinient. i got hacked through PayPal a few years back and the person who hacked me was taking payment for stolen computers. At PayPal's suggestion, I put a request in writing to be permanently removed from their services, to protect me from any further problems involved with the stolen stuff.
I will take an international money order (usually they don't cost too much) made out in US funds."

i think ill just go to the post office and get 10 dollars and post it off....
seems to be the cheapest but longest way to do it.
do the post office change money???

I dont think they do money, but they do international money orders, should be no problem for US dollars. Check with your mates and family, somebody must have $10 laying about

I hope he's got good feedback because that story sounds a bit dodgy.

EDIT: Still, unlikely he's trying to do you out of a tenner.

international money order from the credit union is the cheapest and best way,it has to be cashed by the name on it in their bank,i have been buying on the bay since 1999,its the only method i will use, if they refuse it i say no deal,my feed back is100%,your tenner multiplyed by 10 each day adds to big bucks every year, beware the bay is littered with sharks,
