The touching story of the gorilla who grabbed the attention of the world when a young child fell into the gorilla enclosure at Gerald Durrell's Jersey Zoo and instead of attacking the child gently touched him and then protected him from the rest of the gorilla family.

Ive been trying to find this video(No idea how this came into my head)
A lot of information is available on the net, but google fails to find a video despite my best efforts.

If anyone has any links to the video it would be much appreciated.

    That's sick.

How? A gorilla protecting a young child is sick?!

Care to give reasons as to why its sick exactly?

    Everyone's entitled to their opinion.

Yes but yours is completely unfounded. Would you mind explaining your opinion? Would you prefer if the child was mauled to death by the gorilla?

if it was a video of that he was looking for, then it'd be sick
I don't see whats sick about wanting to see what can only be called a phenomenon

    Eh..
I was looking for the video because I have seen it before and it is amazing.
    They made documentries about it.

There is nothing sick about it it all. Why do you think it is sick if I would like to see it?

I was referring to Shredded Humans in my post, not the OP.

Yeah i was referring to the OP but more so on the comments of SH, i.e he called the OP sick for looking for a vid of the gorilla protecting the child , and i was merely saying that if the OP had been requesting links to a vid of the kid being mauled, it'd then justify SH's comments, but as it was a vid of the gorilla protecting it, then the comments just an attempt to start an argument.
    Did that make any sense?

This thread was clearly started in the pre-YouTube era. Unfortunately it was resurrected in the post-Boards Touch era where proper embedding is awkward

I was going to begin a thread on this but searched and found one to already be in existence
